The browser extensions, once deployed, allows you to directly perform most of the password management activities, with PMP running in the background.Īpart from the Chrome browser extension, the other available extensions are: It allows you to view all the passwords, resource groups, favorites, and recently used resources and also enables you to search for resources. The extension helps you to auto-fill passwords to websites and web applications, and also set up an Auto Logon gateway to launch RDP and SSH sessions. I could change the default in the config info but I didn't want to bother doing that.Password Manager Pro(PMP) allows you to securely synchronize passwords across browsers through native browser extensions to make password management and auto-logon activities seamless. The addon I use to switch user agents reverts back the Firefox default upon relaunch. That's because here I need to relaunch the browser to see if the login is remembered. One final thing, I can't fake the ATT site out changing the user agent like I did with the Yahoo Finance experiment. I use an email client so I don't care about logging into the webmail either (except to check the spam box once a week - don't get me started with that one) and even there I have another way to get to the webmail through one of my extensions which does know how to log in for me. Fortunately their page is not my startup page.

I use in my full browser, if ATT thinks I'm going to use a page plastered with ads, then IMO their page is not worth using. That's what leads me to believe the ATT site is sensitive to the browser being used.Īs for the ad blockers, etc. I tried using a clean profile in Firefox (like using FF for the very first time) and even that required me to sign in upon a relaunch. I have addons controlling all these things. In looking into this a little I think it not only has to do with which browser you use, but if your have your browser remembering cookies, using javascript blockers, and ad blockers. In the case here I have the same problem as you with Firefox, but not with Chrome. Just faking Yahoo into thinking I was using Safari. I use Firefox and a while back when looking at a stock the videos would only play for 8 seconds! I changed my user agent to make the site think I was using, of all things, Safari if memory serves, and the videos played! No other changes to my browser.

I've seen this a few months ago with Yahoo's Finance pages. But IMO its a poorly coded web page and IMO doesn't work properly with all browsers.
